About me

My name is Rosalyn and I am a Reiki Practitioner/Teacher. I run the rainbow therapy centre, along with my husband, from our home. I started my Reiki training in 2006 and took my Masters level, to enable me to teach, in April 2009. You will find the treatment room in the centre to be relaxing and peaceful. I am a calm, relaxed person, a good listener, sympathetic and non judgemental. Your dignity and privacy is of the utmost importance to us and you are treated in the strictest of confidence. About Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word which translate as Universal Life Force and is an ancient form of hands on healing which treats mind, body and soul. The technique is passed from teacher to student through initiation. The Reiki energy helps the body to heal itself and is a non-invasive therapy. For those people who do not like to be touched Reiki can be used with hands off energy.

Reiki treatments generally leave clients in a very relaxed state and with a feeling of well being. Clients have reported feeling lighter and more relaxed after a session and of being able to cope better with every day problems. A reduction from pain has also been reported.

Products

Reiki Sessions & Courses Overview

Reiki healing session: A Reiki healing session costs £20 and lasts an hour. It takes place in our private, relaxing therapy room. The client lies fully clothed on the treatment couch and listens to relaxing music while the healing takes place. If you find it difficult to lie down, healing can be given in a sitting position. Please allow an extra half an hour for new clients for the paperwork to be completed.

Reiki One Course: The aim of the day is for you to be introduced to Reiki and it's history. You will be taught how to self heal and you will be attuned to the first level. The cost is £80 and the course time is 9.30 am to 5 pm.

Reiki Two course: Takes place over one day and you will be shown the sacred symbols which you will learn to draw them. You will be attuned to the second level. The cost is £120 and course time is 9.30 am to 5 pm.

Reiki Master Practitioner course: Takes place over one day and for this level you will need to do two case studies and present them to me at least a week before the start of the course. We will Discuss setting up your practice and points such as health and safety, confidentially etc. You will be attuned to Practitoner level and the cost of this day is £130 and the course time is 10 am to 5 pm.

Reiki Master Teacher course: Will take place over 3 days and the cost is £250. You will be attuned to teacher level with the authorisation to teach and initiate others. You will be required to write a first degree manual and present it to me at the start of the course.

Meditation

I offer guided meditation sessions for small groups (no more than 6) or on a one-to-one basis at a cost of £5 per person. The meditations are written by myself and last no more than half an hour. Come along, give yourself permission to relax and enjoy a cuppa afterwards.

Development Group

We also run informal spiritual groups where like minded people can get together to discuss, meditate and exchange ideas. These groups meet alternate Thursdays at 7.30 pm.

The cost is £20 for a 45 minute reading with the opportunity at the end to pick your own cards that will answer any questions that Graham has not covered.
